Brenton Hurst,

Brenton has been practising podiatry since 2007 and brings 20 years of clinical experience to Hurst Podiatry. He specialises in musculoskeletal and sports injuries and regenrative medicine, with a particular passion for helping athletes and active individuals return to their best.

Endorsed for S4 scheduled medicines, Brenton has completed extensive additional training in diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injection therapies, including cortisone and prolotherapy treatments. This advanced skillset allows him to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for complex foot and ankle conditions.

Being a keen cricket, football, and running enthusiast himself, Brenton is the proud provider of podiatric care to the Upwey Cricket Club for the past 15 years.

Belinda Dennehy, B.Podiatry

With over 20 years of experience in Private podiatry and foot care, Belinda provides professional and compassionate treatment tailored to each patient’s needs. Her areas of interest include general foot care, Paediatrics, Aged Care and Diabetic foot assessment and management, with a strong focus on maintaining comfort, mobility, and long-term foot health. She is committed to delivering high-quality care in a friendly and supportive environment.

With a young family involved in many sports, and being a Netballer herself, she also likes to help with sporting injuries and rehabilitation and orthotic therapy.

Rowan Hendricks,

Rowan is an experienced podiatrist with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Podiatric Practice, bringing a high level of clinical expertise to every patient he sees.

Rowan has a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients overcome pain and get back to doing what they love. He is experienced in the assessment and management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including:

Mitchell graduated from La Trobe University with a bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Podiatric Practice.

Leading an athletic lifestyle himself, he is passionate about the treatment and management of lower limb musculoskeletal injuries and sports rehabilitation.

Rachel Krause,
Bachelor of Podiatry

Rachel has predominantly worked in private practice with over 10 years experience in podiatry, in particular providing general Podiatry services, ingrown toenail management/surgery, paediatric podiatry, sports podiatry and orthotic therapy. Rachel is passionate about diabetic foot care management/education and is a firm believer in early intervention and prevention of complications, as well as promoting the benefits of regular foot care and management of various conditions affecting the feet, keeping clients comfortable and active.

Jarryd Rodgers,
Bachelor of Podiatry

Jarryd is a highly experienced podiatrist with over a decade of experience, specialising in sports podiatry and comprehensive foot and ankle care. He holds a Bachelor of Podiatry from La Trobe University and has a strong interest in managing conditions such as plantar heel pain, forefoot issues, and bunion concerns.

Jarryd is highly skilled in ingrown toenail management, having performed over 100 procedures. He is committed to ongoing professional development, having completed Basic Surgical Skills Education and Training (BSSET) with the Australian College of Podiatry Surgeons. He is also working towards endorsement to prescribe scheduled medicines. Jarryd works with patients of all ages to address their foot and ankle health, helping them recover, prevent injury, and live more active lives.

India Patch,
Bachelor of Podiatry

India graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2018 and started her career in the northern rivers of NSW. She then continued south to Echuca for a year and now in the food and wine region of the Yarra valley. Being a big foodie, she is also doing an apprenticeship as a chef alongside her podiatry. She strives to always provide excellent patient care and accomodate to the patients needs. Her special interests in podiatry include ingrown toenails, toenail surgery, general nail care and diabetic foot management.

Ceridwen Smith,
Bachelor of Podiatry

Ceridwen graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2006. Since that time, she has worked as a Podiatrist in a variety of settings including acute hospital, community health and private practice. Ceridwen has a particular passion for disability and aged care, wound care and diabetes foot management, but also enjoys paediatrics and managing musculoskeletal conditions.Ceridwen has a young family, and is actively involved in her local church. In her spare time, she enjoys various crafty hobbies.

Joseph Frenkel,
Dermatology Specialist
B. Pod. | M. Sc. | Grad. Dip. Derm.

Joseph is a Podiatrist and Academic with a decade of study and over 20 years of clinical experience. His primary work is in Podiatric Dermatology and is currently the consulting Podiatrist at the Skin Health Institute, as well as in his private practice Heel Me Podiatry.

Joseph also holds academic positions at several Universities and both in Australia and internationally, is a reviewer for medical journals and regularly presents locally and abroad.

He also founded and actively runs the Podiatric Dermatology Interest Group on Facebook which now has over 5,500 members worldwide.
